• Rate-limiting and anti-abuse controls used to reduce spam and malicious automation.
• Google reCAPTCHA on public forms where configured.
• A first-party cookie named nhs_cookie_notice_seen that remembers whether the cookie notice was dismissed.

Optional technologies

Optional analytics, marketing, advertising measurement, cross-site tracking, profiling, and social tracking must not be added unless this notice, the evidence register, supplier/transfer records, and consent mechanism are updated and approved.
